Your new role
* Manage end-to-end tender processes from concept through to contract execution.
* Provide expert commercial and procurement advice, ensuring probity and compliance.
* Develop business cases, briefing notes, and Board reports to support decision-making.
* Liaise with legal, financial, and probity advisors during contract formation and negotiation.
* Support contract managers throughout the contract lifecycle and ensure smooth handovers.
* Lead policy development and continuous improvement in tendering and contract management.
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build strong working relationships.
What you'll need to succeed
* A relevant degree or industry certification with proven experience in procurement and tender processes.
* Strong project management skills and ability to influence outcomes.
* Extensive experience in government tendering and a detailed understanding of purchasing processes.
* Advanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, both written and verbal.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail.
