What You’ll Be Doing Deliver accurate, high-quality financial analysis and support month-end and year-end reporting cycles. Manage end-to-end asset accounting, including acquisitions, disposals, valuations, and asset assurance. Prepare technical journal entries and reconciliations, and ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and Commonwealth frameworks. Provide trusted advice on accounting policy, financial risk, and assurance frameworks. Collaborate with senior stakeholders, auditors, and project leads across the department. Mentor junior staff and contribute to ongoing team and process improvement initiatives. About You Strong technical financial accounting/reporting background — APS, Big 4, or complex private sector experience welcomed. Confident communicator who can liaise with diverse stakeholders, including operational teams and external auditors. Proactive, detail-focused, and resilient under tight deadlines. Comfortable navigating SAP or similar ERP systems, with intermediate Excel skills. Holds (or held) a Baseline Security Clearance. Desirable CPA/CA qualified or progressing toward. Experience in infrastructure, defence, or capital-intensive sectors. Working knowledge of Commonwealth financial frameworks and asset lifecycle management. Why Join?
