The Opportunity

We're looking for Trainee & Experienced Laboratory Technicians to join our Luscombe quarry-based laboratory. No experience? No problem — full training is provided.

You'll work on site at a major quarry, testing aggregates, soils and concrete used on real construction projects. This is a hands-on role that gets you out of an office and into a practical, stable career with genuine long-term opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing

* Testing construction materials using lab equipment
* Recording results and entering data into our systems
* Manual tasks including lifting (up to 20kg), cutting and sample preparation
* Working on your feet in a quarry and laboratory environment
* Some overtime and Saturday work when required

About You

* Keen to start a trade-style career or change direction
* Safety-focused and physically capable
* Reliable, practical and willing to learn
* Comfortable working outdoors, in quarries and dusty environments
* Flexible with early starts and occasional weekend work
* A current Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
* White Card (or willing to get one quickly)
* Australian or NZ citizenship or permanent residency

* Pay Rate: $20 – $27 per hour (starting at $20 for trainees aged 18 years, with the pay rate increasing by age and trainee classification, in line with the Award).
* Junior trainees (under 21) are paid at the applicable Award junior rate, while adult trainees receive $27 ph
