- Centre is open Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm
- Based at our state of the art, specialist early learning centre in Prospect
- Provide quality care, education and support to children attending AnglicareSA child care centres
**Who are we looking for?**:
An enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator who has a genuine passion for working with and supporting young children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years old to reach their potential. You will have a genuine passion for working with young children, including those with disabilities and developmental delays, and call upon your experience with providing children with quality care, education and support.
The successful applicants will share our passion for early years development and the opportunity to impact and shape the lives of the future generations of South Australian children.
**What can you expect to be doing?**:
- Provide quality care, education and support to children attending AnglicareSA’s Daphne St Child Care Centre and Autism Specific Early Learning Centre (ASELCC).
- Collaborate with other educators, multidisciplinary team member’s families and other stakeholders to provide innovative quality early learning service.
- Work in a strong team environment, providing a professional and quality childcare program in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Support children with additional needs to be included and thrive in a protected environment.
**What do you need to bring?**:
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Children’s Services, or evidence you are actively working towards these qualifications
- Proven experience delivering high quality childcare and education, particularly with children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age
- Understanding of Child Protection issues and practices and sound knowledge of childcare legislative and accreditation requirements
- Demonstrated skills in documenting children’s learning through observations
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
