Solana Energy is a growing solar, battery, and EV charging company operating across Newcastle and the Central Coast. We run structured install teams, established systems, and are focused on quality delivery and sustainable growth.
We are now looking for an Installation Manager to take ownership of our installation operations as we increase capacity through 2026.
The Role
This is an operations-first leadership role.
The Installation Manager owns the day to day delivery of installs and ensures weekly completion targets are hit safely, efficiently, and to standard.
You will work closely with our operations and admin team to ensure installs flow smoothly from scheduling through to completion, with minimal escalation.
This is not a 50/50 tools role.
Time on the tools is intentional and support-based, focused on training, quality control, and complex jobs only.
Key Responsibilities
Primary – Operations Ownership
* Schedule installation teams weeks in advance
* Ensure weekly installation completion targets are achieved
* Audit installs pre and post installation
* Maintain CRM accuracy and job data integrity
* Manage rebooking, rescheduling, and defect resolutions
* Oversee communication with retailers and customers
* Manage materials, stock levels, tools, and vehicles
* Ensure WHS, SWMS, and toolbox talks are adhered to
* Conduct installer performance reviews
* Implement training and onboarding plans
* Drive team morale, retention, and culture
* Support recruitment of installers and apprentices
* Train and mentor installers
* Conduct quality control and workmanship audits
* Attend complex or high-risk installs when required
* Step in to support teams when standards or timelines are at risk

About You
* Licensed electrician with strong experience in: Solar PV, Battery storage and EV chargers
* Experience leading install teams
* Comfortable with systems, audits, scheduling, and accountability
* Strong communicator with installers, office staff, and customers
* Takes pride in quality, structure, and consistency
