Experienced Rigger/Structural Steel Erector
We are a family business with over 30 years experience in structural steel rigging and crane hire.
Working all throughout Melbourne with a constant change of scenery and tasks with an experienced and friendly crew.
We are looking for a reliable experienced addition to the team who is keen to work in a fast paced environment and who has an eye for detail.
Qualifications & Experience
White Card - construction induction
EWP License Over 11 Meters
Basic Riggers
Welder/Boiler Maker - not essential
C6 - not essential
Tasks & Responsibilities
Working with a crew to install structural steel with a 25t Crane on mostly industrial sites
Installing from EWP's - purlins, bridging, rod bracing & fly braces
Reading of basic drawings and plans
Estimating the size and weight of objects to be moved and deciding on appropriate equipment to be used
Attaching sling equipment to load to be lifted
Following workplace Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures
Installing and operating cables, ropes, pulleys, and other lifting tackle
Erecting structural steel on buildings under construction
Must have own car, relevant tools, strong work ethic, happy to work in a team, and be reliable
