Job Overview
The Finance Business Partner is responsible for the effective financial management of a portfolio of projects. This includes being the primary contact point for the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the provision of accurate budget actuals and forecast reporting for both individual projects and the consolidated portfolio of projects.
Main Responsibilities
* Establishment and ongoing maintenance of structural elements for projects within financial and reporting systems, including chart of accounts, project accounting structures, and timesheet mapping.
* Creation and updating of revenue schedules for each project to ensure high accuracy of revenue recognition in compliance with group policies and procedures.
* Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date cost forecasts for all projects on a regular basis.
* Providing support to PMUs with financial and compliance matters, including liaising with Accounts Payable and Payroll/timesheets as required.
About You
You will have prior experience working in finance in a similar role or managing the financial aspects of projects or portfolios. You should possess excellent MS Excel skills and be comfortable navigating complex systems, implementing process improvements, and best practices.
