About the Team & Office
Join SCA Townsville as a Brand & Promotions Lead. In this role, youll work closely with the local Content team to bring SCA’s brands to life through creative audience experiences. The team is collaborative, hands on and strongly connected to the local community, with a shared focus on engaging listeners and supporting strong ratings outcomes across SCA’s assets.
A day in the life?
In this role, you’ll work closely with content, product and brand teams to bring the station’s ideas to life through engaging promotions and audience experiences. You’ll manage campaigns end‑to‑end — from planning and on‑air execution through to digital, events, prizes and winners — making sure everything runs smoothly on time and on budget. Along the way, you’ll write promotional copy, coordinate calendars, support live events and activations, and collaborate with the digital team to keep campaigns thriving online.
What You’ll Need
Extensive experience and knowledge of radio/media promotions, marketing, branding, PR, digital media and/or social media strategyIn depth knowledge of content, sales and promotions in the radio/media industry including an understanding of the business benefits of integration across all platformsExcellent people and resource management skillsSuccessful track record leading, motivating and inspiring complex teams; leading teams towards the delivery of creative solutionsAbility to provide creative and practical solutions to meet Sales briefs and Content development needsExcellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to deal with staff and clients at all levelsKeen interest in news, popular culture and current affairs relevant to SCA’s audiences
