About the Role
Are you ready to coordinate marine operations that support national interests? We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and motivated individuals for the Marine Services Coordinator within a Government and Defence capacity for the berthing facility. You'll manage and coordinate marine service operations, working closely with suppliers, sub-contractors, service technicians, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant marine activities across the wharf, ports, and sites.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to)
Coordinate daily marine operations including vessel movements, crew logistics, victuals supplies, petroleum supplies, and other port services.
Ensure compliance with maritime safety regulations and protocols.
Liaise with government departments, port authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Maintain accurate service records, logs, and operational reports.
Support marine-related projects including supply-chain and customer coordination.
Prepare standard operating procedures for inspections and audits.
Oversee ordering, freight and cargo operations for Christmas Island victuals deliveries from Perth Airport.
What You'll Bring
Proven experience in marine operations, logistics, or naval operations.
Strong knowledge of maritime laws, health and safety standards, and marine coordination software.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage complex schedules.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and managing systems and documentation of sensitive information.
Calm under pressure with a proactive and analytical mindset.
