Filtration Services Solutions Specialist APACFLS enables our customers to produce the materials needed for a better future.Job scopeThe APAC Solution Specialist will be responsible for filtration aftermarket sales and technical support. They will identify business opportunities, generate leads, foster client relationships to meet or exceed sales goals, support installation assistance, and conduct inspections and measurements on-site, including wear and maintenance reports in collaboration with the service team. Ensure customer support, troubleshooting, and participate in customer seminars and presentations. Travel within the specific region to drive growth and offer technical expertise for filtration equipment.Your responsibilitiesManage customer relationships and their product needs throughout the product lifecycle.Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable products/solutions.Identify and develop new business in the region.Provide feedback regarding customer needs and market intelligence.Maintain opportunities in the CRM system.Monitor industry updates and changes in the product landscape.Perform health checks on customer sites, review data, and present feedback.Work closely with product line, engineering, and sales teams across FLS.Support the development of marketing documents highlighting the primary benefits of solutions.Be self-driven and able to work with minimal supervision.Support proposals department on complex solutions.Review operations and processes in new and existing installations.Identify and interpret clients' technical requirements based on mine visits.Provide technical support and engineering management in specifications, design, manufacturing, installation, and performance monitoring of consumables.Ensure correct installation and operation of consumables through technical support.Support new product development and R&D projects in the region.What you bringGood communication skills, both written and spoken.Deep product and competitor knowledge to develop effective sales strategies and handle objections.Ability to communicate complex concepts simply to customers.Willingness to travel >50%, domestically and internationally.Physical ability to climb structures and stairs in industrial plants and mines.College degree or equivalent experience.Minimum 5 years of experience in the mining/industrial industry, with specific experience in heavy industrial products/systems a plus.Minimum 3 years' experience in metallurgy, maintenance, processing/wash plants, filtration, or separations.Mechanical background with ability to read mechanical drawings.What we offerCompetitive remuneration package.Job security in a volatile market, with a global presence since 1882.Development and training within a respected global OEM company.Salary packaging options to maximize after-tax income.Employee Assistance Program for employees and immediate family.Purchased annual leave options.Access to a recognition and benefits platform.Involvement in community and charity initiatives.FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality, promoting an inclusive environment.
