**The Opportunity**
We are looking for suitably experienced and motivated Surveyor to join our Tasmanian team working in Devonport/Hobart. Working both independently and as part of our talented team you will have the opportunity to work on multiple land and engineering projects across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake surveys for:
- Cadastral boundary identification and re-establishment, acquisitions, stratum, detail and feature projects
- Engineering and construction projects
- Carry out survey calculations, drafting and reports where necessary including the use of any appropriate software to facilitate.
- Manage and control survey documentation to statutory authorities and project guidelines
**About You**
- To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
- Previous experience working on land and engineering surveying projects
- Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment and software
- The ability to work in a technically complex environment and deliver project milestones
- An understanding of point cloud capture technologies and solutions including processing and data modelling would be desirable
- Demonstrated time management skills, with an ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- A motivated person with a passion for Surveying
- Have an acute attention for detail with a desire to achieve the best outcome
- Have an understanding and awareness of Safety requirements
- A willingness to travel is an integral part of this role
- A degree in Surveying (or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Current Australian driver's license
