Your Role
Join our Finished Vehicle Logistics operation at East Arm NT, providing administrative support across transport and yard operations. This role is focused on coordinating bookings, vehicle movements and operational admin processes to support a high-volume logistics environment. You'll work closely with yard and transport teams to ensure efficient day‐to‐day operations.
What are you going to do?
* Handle inbound calls / emails / messages, and make outbound phone calls to schedule next‐day pickups and deliveries, including local and rural areas
* Manage customer pick‐ups and drop‐offs and initiate claims process for customer pick‐ups
* Oversee mail dispatch through TNT and Australia Post, including ordering new satchels
* Maintain supplier/contractor files and keep site induction folders up-to-date
* Collaborate with yard staff regarding pick‐ups and drop‐offs
* Ensure office supplies and uniforms inventory is well‐maintained
* Complete basic financial tasks
* Provide support for operational administrative duties as needed
What are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate has experience in an administrative role within a logistics, transport or operations environment, together with:
* Exceptional communication, customer service and time management skills
* Intermediate proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and capable of learning new systems / technology
* Good judgement in decision‐making or able to seek guidance when necessary
* Experience working in a fast‐paced, operational or logistics environment will be highly regarded
* Confidence working with drivers, yard teams and operational stakeholders
In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
