Overview
Grace Christian College is seeking a qualified and passionate Senior Secondary Maths/Science Teacher to join our teaching team from the beginning of the 2026 school year. This full time position includes teaching Chemistry in the IB Diploma Programme, with the ability to teach Mathematics at the IB level considered a strong advantage. The role may also include other Year 7–12 science classes, depending on the applicant’s experience and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry in the IB Diploma Programme (Years 11–12).
Potentially teach senior Mathematics at the IB level.
Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons in a Christ-centred learning setting.
Contribute to a culture of academic excellence, faith development, and pastoral care.
The successful applicant will
Be a committed Christian with a robust personal faith in Jesus Christ.
Confidently integrate a Biblical worldview into their teaching practice.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of senior secondary science curricula (especially IB Chemistry).
Be willing to support students in both their academic and spiritual growth.
