The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Supervisor for our Track team based in Narrogin. This role is responsible for the leadership and supervision of the day-to-day activities of our Track team.
The Role
The key tasks for this role are:
• Ensuring that the track team maintains designated track assets and works.
• Assign work, and monitor quality of work to ensure it’s carried out in line with procedures, codes of practice and standards.
• Provide on the job instruction, technical direction and support to the track team.
• Complete and verify routine maintenance and fault/ incident reports.
• Conduct worksite inspections, incident investigations and actively promote a positive safety culture within the team.
• Appropriate coordination of resources, materials and sub-contractors.
• Accurately reconcile completed work orders and procedural documentation.
About You
We’d like you to have:
• Significant experience in rail permanent way maintenance and/ or construction.
• Certificate III in Rail Infrastructure.
• Previous supervisory experience is essential.
• High level of planning experience, scoping and estimating desirable.
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to adapt to a dynamic environment
