**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Establish contract management procedures and implement commercial and contractual processes.
- Coordinate contract administration activities with other departments and project teams.
- Prepare, review, negotiate and finalize contracts/agreements with counter parties to deliver the best outcome for the company.
- Monitor and oversee the performance of contracts and provide contractual communications to contractors.
- Manage contractors' progress, payments, variations, compliance, and associated contract management issues.
- Anticipate potential events and risks to the project and provide counter strategies and commercial solutions to minimize project impact.
- Ensure contracts are properly closed out and handed over to the business.
- Manage compliance and registration on both company and project levels.
- Ensure insurances and risks are managed properly.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Contract Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent relevant experience.
- Significant experience in contracts administration and management in the engineering industry, ideally wind farm, power generation, renewable, civil or similar industry.
- Ability to lead commercial aspects of negotiations with counter parties.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the commercial management and governance requirements for infrastructure projects.
- Understanding of the National Electricity Market and associated Statutory Bodies is beneficial.
- High level of collaboration and communications with project teams.
- Strong ethics in dealings with sensitive information.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Fluency in Chinese is beneficial but not mandatory.
