About the role
We are seeking a motivated Communications & Engagement Officer to support key projects by providing clear, consistent and proactive stakeholder communication. In this role, you'll help ensure the community and stakeholders are informed, supported and engaged throughout project delivery — while contributing to a positive and transparent communication experience.
This role sits within a busy project environment, supporting the development and delivery of communication and engagement initiatives. You will assist with planning and executing communication campaigns, coordinating community engagement activities, preparing content and reports, and helping ensure information is shared effectively across multiple platforms.
Duties
* Plan, coordinate and deliver communication and engagement activities for key projects
* Prepare updates, messaging schedules and supporting materials across digital and print channels
* Coordinate community information sessions, briefings and engagement touchpoints
* Build and maintain positive stakeholder relationships and assist in responding to enquiries
* Produce content such as newsletters, updates, flyers and presentation material
Skills and Experience
* Qualifications & experience in communications, community engagement, project support or related fields
* Digital communication capability, including familiarity with platforms such as CMS, social media and email publishing tools
* Ability to build relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders
* Graphic/design skills or experience preparing visual materials
* Current driver's licence
