Job Title: Belt Picker Starting Rate: $38 per hour Key Responsibilities: Sort ferrous and non-ferrous metals from conveyor belts: Ensure metals are accurately sorted for further processing or recycling. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse: Contribute to a tidy workspace and organized warehouse operations. Handle and move metal materials safely: Employ proper techniques to safely handle and transport metal materials. Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times: Uphold a strong safety culture by adhering strictly to safety guidelines. Qualifications: Physical ability to handle heavy materials in a fast-paced environment: Must be capable of continuous physical activity involving heavy lifting and movement. Previous experience in a production, recycling, or manufacturing setting: Demonstrated experience in similar environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of metal types and properties is a plus: Understanding of various metal characteristics and classifications is advantageous. Day-to-Day Tasks: Sort and separate different types of metals: Efficiently identify and categorize metals for recycling and processing.
