Job Title: Geophysical Field Technician
Job Description:
As a Geophysical Field Technician, you will be part of our exploration teams conducting surveys across remote areas in Australia. You must be physically fit and healthy to work up to 20 kilometers per day in rugged terrain and challenging weather conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the outdoors and working independently. You will need to have experience operating 4WDs, ATVs, and UTVs safely, as well as hold current first aid certificates.
* Key requirements include holding current first aid certificates, having a good understanding of GPS and coordinate systems commonly used in Australia, and being able to work independently.
* A high level of physical fitness is essential, with the ability to walk up to 20 kilometers per day in rugged terrain.
Success in this role depends on your ability to learn quickly, take instruction from experienced crew leaders, and have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Field crews represent the company at the frontline, so it is essential that you are able to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
