Job Title: Interim Health and Safety Professional
We are seeking an experienced interim health and safety professional to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety management, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective action.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols and procedures.
* Liaise with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to promote a culture of health and safety awareness.
* Collaborate with the health and safety team to develop and implement behavioral safety programs and monitor their effectiveness.
* Investigate incidents and near misses, and provide recommendations for preventing recurrence.
* Ensure accurate and timely reporting of health and safety data and statistics.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry or sector.
* Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and regulations, including OHSAS 18001 and ISO 45001.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
