Casual Receptionist – Fertility Clinic

Casual | 2–2.5 days per week | 6-month maternity leave cover
Ava Fertility is seeking two enthusiastic and confident receptionists to join our warm and supportive team on a casual basis (job share). This role is a 6-month maternity leave cover, commencing after Easter, with approximately 2–2.5 days per week.
Working in a fertility clinic is a unique and rewarding experience. Our reception team plays an essential role in creating a calm, caring and supportive environment for patients during an important time in their lives.
About the Role
We're looking for someone who:
* Is a confident and friendly communicator
* Enjoys caring for people and helping them feel comfortable and supported
* Works well in a team environment
* Brings enthusiasm, energy and initiative to their work
* Has strong organisation and appointment scheduling skills
This role would suit students or mums looking for a couple of days of work each week, but we welcome applications from anyone who feels they would thrive in this environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Greeting and supporting patients in a warm, professional manner
* Managing appointments and reception enquiries
* Liaising with clinical and administrative team members
* Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
* Contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
About You
A great receptionist in our practice is someone who:
* Understands the important role reception plays in the patient experience and smooth running of a medical practice
* Communicates clearly and compassionately with both patients and colleagues
* Enjoys working as a key connection between the clinical and administrative teams
* Is organised, proactive and reliable
Previous medical reception experience is highly regarded, however applicants with strong customer service or administrative experience are also encouraged to apply.
