**The Opportunity**
HeliMods is seeking a skilled Quality Management Lead to join our Team.
**In your role you will be responsible for**:
- Ensuring compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001, AS9100 and related management systems.
- Collaborating with technical leads to develop and improve quality management processes in support of delivering the organisation's strategic objectives.
- Identifying best practices and establishing new ways of complying with relevant standards.
- Developing manuals and procedures to extend scope of existing management system approvals and gain accreditations for additional management systems.
- Ensuring that the Quality Management System (QMS), as part of our integrated management system, conforms to the requirements of this International Standard.
- Ensuring that operational processes are delivering their intended outputs.
- Reporting on the performance of the QMS and related systems.
- Proposing and implementing improvements to quality management processes, with an understanding of cost and performance benefits.
- Promoting the quality policy, customer focus, and awareness of the effects each individual has on quality throughout the organisation.
- Delivering new and recurring training on quality management processes.
- Ensuring that the integrity of the QMS is maintained when changes to the QMS are planned and implemented.
**The duties of this position include (but are not limited to) the following**:
- Aligning and integrating HeliMods Quality Management System (QMS) with the requirements of other management system standards.
- Carrying out internal audits and supplier audits, and representing the organisation at external audits.
- Promoting the use of practical risk-based thinking to achieve an effective Quality Management System that aligns with the organisation's aims.
- Demonstrating leadership and commitment by taking accountability for the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Ensuring that the quality policy and quality objectives established for the QMS are compatible with the context and strategic direction of the organisation.
- Ensuring the integration of the QMS requirements into the organisation's processes.
- Engaging, coordinating, and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the QMS.
- Promoting improvements.
- Monitoring customer satisfaction.
- Improving reliability of new product development processes.
- Reviewing products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
**Skills, experience and qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, etc.).
- 4+ years' quality management experience.
- Knowledge of the ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Experience with quality management in aviation is desirable.
- Experience working with digital engineering and i4.0 manufacturing systems is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
