Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a skilled kitchen team, ensuring exceptional culinary standards and consistency in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and motivate a skilled kitchen team, driving excellence in food preparation and presentation.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop menus, manage inventory levels, and optimize food costs and labour expenses.
* Implement procedures to enhance sanitation, product quality, and overall guest experience, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food standards.
* Recruit, train, and roster kitchen staff, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
* Craft bespoke meals tailored to diverse dietary needs and preferences, maintaining high standards of culinary excellence.
Requirements:
* Hold Certificate III Cookery qualifications or equivalent.
* At least two years' experience as a senior chef or Sous Chef, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* Availability to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
