What You Will Be Doing
You will provide site level engineering support across production, quality, safety and operational improvement activities within a concrete manufacturing environment. The role will involve engineering calculations, CAD drafting, technical reporting, production planning, troubleshooting concrete production issues and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with production managers, supervisors and national engineering teams to optimise plant performance, improve production efficiency and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Engineering calculations and integrity checks for plant and equipment
* CAD drafting and reviewing project drawings
* Production planning and scheduling support
* Troubleshooting batch plant and concrete production issues
* Supporting safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives
* Assisting with cost analysis and production efficiency improvements
* Maintaining technical documentation, lockout systems and site maps
* Supporting lean manufacturing and process optimisation projects
What You Will Need
* Previous experience within the concrete, civil construction or building industry
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering or strong understanding of Mechanical or Civil Engineering principles
* Experience in prestress or precast reinforced concrete manufacturing (Desirable)
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP and CAD software
* Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams
* Commitment to workplace safety, quality and continuous improvement
