The Opportunity
This is an opportunity for an Associate to deepen their experience in complex commercial litigation within a practice deliberately focused on higher‐level disputes. Aligned with a leading disputes Partner, the Perth team acts for larger private enterprises, medium‐sized public companies and select government and institutional clients, with a steady pipeline of matters that require technical rigour, strategic thinking and commercial judgement.
The Role
You will grow by working closely with senior practitioners across a range of sophisticated disputes, including:
* Shareholder, partnership and joint venture disputes
* Complex contractual and commercial litigation
* Corporate governance and director‐related claims
* Misleading and deceptive conduct matters
* Regulatory investigations and enforcement‐related disputes
* Dispute strategy, risk analysis and litigation advisory work
Your involvement will span pleadings, evidence preparation, discovery strategy, interlocutory applications, and preparation for mediations, arbitrations and superior court hearings. Be actively involved in the substantive conduct of disputes and exposed to the strategic decision‐making process behind them.

About You
* 2–6 years' PQE in commercial litigation or complex disputes
* Strong academic background with well‐developed technical foundations
* Experience assisting on sophisticated, high‐value litigation matters
* Clear drafting skills and confidence working through complex factual matrices
* A collaborative, disciplined approach suited to a high‐performance team environment
