Trainer & Assessor - Disability and Ageing
Join to apply for the Trainer & Assessor - Disability and Ageing role at ARC Training. This is a full‑time, permanent, fully remote position starting this November. The role requires delivery of the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing and Disability.
About the Role
Do you want to work from home? This fully remote role will see you delivering CHC33021 to existing workers Monday to Friday. The right candidate will have a genuine love for training within both the Ageing and Disability sectors and extensive current industry experience in both sectors.
Your responsibilities will primarily involve delivering, supporting and engaging students in a Digital Classroom environment, with a focus on high‑quality delivery and assessment. You will facilitate and support students during live sessions, mark online assessments, conduct Competency Based Discussions (CBDs), and prepare and submit session plans.
This is a full‑time position requiring 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You must be available to work a minimum of two evening sessions per week as per the following timetable:
- Monday and Tuesday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
- Wednesday and Thursday from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm (start times will be adjusted to accommodate the later finish)
About You
You are a passionate Trainer and Assessor who can engage, captivate, and motivate your target audience. You will be creative in your delivery and maintain focus on compliance for accredited training and assessment.
Essential Criteria / Requirements
- Current qualification CHC33021 Certificate III Individual Support – Ageing and Disability or higher
- Industry currency – relevant and current experience in Ageing and Disability (working part‑time, casual, or volunteer) with evidence
- VET PD which is current
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
- Demonstrated experience in online delivery and assessment of training programs
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a relevant vocational industry, including competency‑based training
- Understanding of nationally endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses
- Experience with VET Quality Framework and Standards for Registered Training Organisations 2025
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in using LMS such as Canvas
- Working with Children Check
- Reliable high‑speed internet coverage
