Fire Safety Role
As a community fire safety specialist, you will play a vital role in protecting people, property and the environment in your local community. You will work from your local fire station and undertake a wide range of duties including community fire safety work, attending fires and other emergencies, community education and collaboration with other emergency services.
Main Responsibilities:
* Conduct community fire safety inspections and provide advice to residents on how to prevent fires
* Respond to fires and other emergencies as part of a team of trained firefighters
* Develop and implement community fire safety plans to reduce the risk of fires
* Collaborate with other emergency services to ensure effective response to emergencies
Requirements:
* Valid NSW driver's license
* Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident
* Live and/or work within a reasonable distance of the fire station
