We are seeking an experienced Analyst to join our Funds Management team in Sydney.
**The Opportunity - About the Role**
A key pillar of Stockland's growth strategy is partnering investment opportunities with institutional capital. Stockland's Funds Management team currently manages seven capital partnerships across a range of residential and commercial sectors and, together with Group Investments / Capital Solutions, is actively working on the establishment of more partnerships. The Analyst within the Funds Management team will be responsible for financial modelling of partnership returns, preparation of reporting packs for partners, active engagement with our partners and key internal stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Financial modelling of partnership returns.
- Ensuring model integrity and accuracy.
- Preparing quarterly fund reports and presentations.
- Overseeing client reporting.
- Collaborating with various internal teams for financial data and insights.
- Establishing new partnerships.
- Working with Stockland Treasury on debt reporting.
- Maintaining fund documentation and managing partnerships according to legal frameworks.
- Enhancing operational risk practices.
- Building strong relationships with capital partners.
**About You**
To be successful in this role you will be naturally curious and have a growth mindset. You will be technically strong and confident to deliver financial models with accuracy. In addition you will have the following skills, education and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Property or Finance.
- 3+ years of property experience in a financial modelling/analyst capacity.
- Desirable funds management experience.
- Understanding of property management, development, valuation principles, and investment drivers.
- Advanced analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Curiosity and love of learning.
- Accountability and ownership of deliverables.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Focus on process improvement.
