Reservations Manager Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Reservations Manager in our hotel operations. This permanent, full-time position offers the opportunity for an experienced individual to utilize their skills in front office management and drive occupancy, average room rate, and accommodation yield.

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. They will be responsible for leading a team to achieve common goals, monitoring performance, and implementing training needs as required.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong analytical skills, with a focus on revenue generation and growth across the rooms division department. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure accurate and effective Property Management System upkeep, handle bookings, amendments, enquiries, cancellations, and special requests, as well as manage rates and maintain adequate communication between departments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maximise yield through utilisation of revenue reports and yield tools.
* Oversee all reservations and group accommodations.
* Maintain accurate and effective Property Management System upkeep.
* Handle bookings, amendments, enquiries, cancellations, and special requests.
* Ensure adherence to credit and payments policies.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in hotel front office operations.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and leadership skills.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks.
* Familiarity with hotel systems (PMS) and distribution channels.
