About the company
Our client is an education body based in the northern suburbs looking for a Professional Development Manager to join their Career Development team. You will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and support two Professional Development Specialists.
You will be responsible for supervising Professional Development Specialists, facilitating learning and development initiatives and coordinating calibration efforts.
The role is full‐time and is based on site.
Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of the professional development programs, including staff induction and mentorship initiatives.
* Supervise a team of Professional Development Specialists.
* Regularly engage and build relationships across the organisation to promote awareness of learning and development opportunities.
* Draft and maintain policies and guidelines to ensure learning and development programs are fully utilised.
* Provide guidance to staff about processes and procedures associated with professional development initiatives.
* Coach and guide stakeholders requiring coaching as part of their learning plan.
* Curate and maintain a professional development library.
* Monitor professional development initiatives and gather data on trends, feedback, etc.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Teaching, Human Resources, Psychology or Project Management.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience in project management and implementation of change programmes.
* Experience delivering training to a large organisation.
* Experience working in the education industry or similar is highly desirable.
* Strong relationship, coaching, influencing and consultancy skills.
