Overview
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a regional hospital for up to 12 weeks, starting April. Location: Bundaberg, QLD. Travel & accommodation provided. Salary: $55 – $65 P/H + Superannuation. Duration: up to 12 weeks (negotiable).
Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in community, and hospital settings.
* Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to promote recovery and independence.
* Collaborate with other allied health staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
* Provide education to patients, families, and carers about self-management strategies and equipment use.
* Complete Functional Capacity Assessments.
* Work in inpatient, outpatient clinic, and community settings.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
* Ability to meet all credentialing requirements.
* NDIS worker screening check.
* Ability to work independently and interdependently.
