Bendigo Rail Workshops (BRW) is a rail maintenance facility located in Bendigo, Victoria. BRW is a critical member of the Southern Shorthaul Railroad group of companies and as such performs maintenance work for some of the largest rail companies in Australia.

About the role
Due to continues growth, BRW has a newly created full time role available for the position of Property Coordinator.
The Property Coordinator will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all property and site maintenance requirements across the entire business, including:
Site, building and equipment maintenance
Site, building and equipment upgrades
Site, building and equipment compliance
Landlord Property interface
Customer Property interface
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Coordinate scheduled maintenance and upkeep of the properties and equipment
Coordinate ad hoc maintenance and upkeep of the properties and equipment
Ensure tracking and reporting of maintenance task progress
Ensure maintenance registers are maintained
Coordinate maintenance personnel
Engage contractors/suppliers to complete maintenance tasks and site upgrades
Oversee site upgrades and special projects as required
Develop scope of works and pricing for maintenance tasks and site upgrades
Be the interface between property owners and the Company
Be the interface between Customer properties and the Company
Ensure correct Company policies, processes and procedures are always followed by maintenance personnel
Participate in continuous improvement and audits as required
Assist with developing maintenance procedures and processes
Assist recruitment and training of maintenance personnel
Occasional travel to various sites from time to time
Skills and Experience Required
* Prior Rail Industry experience highly regarded, but not essential
* Prior experience with coordinating property maintenance
* Prior experience with coordinating staff
* Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, staff, management, customers
* Quality focused, with a high attention to detail
* Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
* Hold a current unrestricted Victorian Drivers Licence
* Hold a current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
* Ability to pass Rail Industry medical if/as required
* Ability to travel to different sites from time to time
