About the role
We are seeking part time Medical Courier driver to join our dedicated team within Belconnen, ACT. Medical Couriers are responsible for pickup and delivery of pathology specimens, stock and other items to doctors, collection centres and hospitals.
Medical Courier routes may cover large distances and have strict timelines, so high level time management skills are essential. The successful applicant represents Clinical Laboratories to a large number of our clients and so excellent communication, professionalism and customer service skills are essential.
The successful applicants will be required to be available to work weekdays and weekends, day and evening shifts. Experience is preferred but not essential.
Skills and experience:
* Current drivers licence
* A demonstrated safe driving history and adherence to safe driving practices
* High attention to detail and experience working in a fast-paced environment
* An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
* High level of customer service skills
* Availability to work any shift Monday to Sunday
* Compliance with all Company policies, including zero tolerance and a non-smoking workplace
* Ability to follow route and time schedule as provided
* Ability to load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate Australian Clinical Labs delivery vehicle
* Resolve clients’ complaints (where applicable) in a professional manner
