About the role
The role of Senior Administration Officer will coordinate and manage the delivery of workforce related activities such as recruitment and selection coordination and broader workforce projects and initiatives within Prison Health Services.

**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Provide guidance to managers of the service to help with the understanding of process, policies and procedures related to recruitment functions, in partnership with the West Moreton Recruitment team.
- Participating in selection processes providing scribing and notation as needed.

Prison Health Services (PHS) is a rapidly growing division within the West Moreton Health region, delivering primary health care services to detained, remanded and sentenced prisoners and Young Persons across eight facilities (six Correctional Centres and two Youth Detention Centres).
About you
- Expertise in management of an administrative environment including the capacity to liase and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed administration skills including utilisation of contemporary information technology systems, the mircosoft suite of systems, data preparation and scheduling activites.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with team members and staff at all levels.
- Ability to work autonomously to plan, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and be adaptable in a team work environment.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
