We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill the role of Coal Quality Tester in our laboratory team. This position involves collecting and testing coal samples, operating laboratory equipment, and maintaining high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
* Collecting production and train samples across the site.
* Conducting various coal testing methods, including geological and chemical analysis.
* Validating results and ensuring they meet accuracy and repeatability standards.
* Adhering strictly to quality control procedures and standard operating protocols.
* Prioritising safety and efficient turnaround of test results.
* Maintaining a clean, well-organised lab and work area.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Excellent communication and reliability.
* Previous experience in coal testing or laboratory work (highly regarded).
* A valid driver's license.
* Willingness to work extended shifts on a rotational roster.
* Ability to pass medical screening.
