About the role
This is a busy role within the firm's Insurance & Compensation practice, ideal for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate defendant personal injury lawyer, ideally with VWA panel experience, to advise on serious injury, common law claims, and appeals.

Duties
In this role you will:
* Manage originating motions, damages, and statutory benefits litigation
* Gather and assess evidence to support case strategy
* Draft high-quality briefs and legal documentation
* Prepare and advocate at mediations and court proceedings
* Liaise directly with clients and handle end-to-end file management
* Mentor and support junior colleagues within the team
Skills & experience
Ideally, you will have:
* 3+ years' experience in Defendant or Plaintiff WorkCover matters
* The ability to manage your own matters with a proactive, 'can do' attitude
* A genuine enjoyment of busy workloads and strong client engagement
* The willingness to support and mentor less experienced team members
* Excellent organisational and communication skills with a client-focused approach
