Position: ISUZU - Heavy Diesel Mechanic (Sponsorship Available)e
Location: Bendigo, VIC, Australia
Contract Details: Full-time, Permanent
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic for ISUZU, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty vehicles such as trucks, buses, and trailers. You will work with a team of experienced mechanics and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and tools to perform your duties effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles according to manufacturer's specifications
* Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
* Perform engine overhauls, transmission repairs, and other major repairs as needed
* Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner to meet client deadlines
* Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to provide updates and recommendations
* Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications and Experience:
* Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
* Minimum of 3 years' experience working as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Isuzu trucks
* Experience working with ISUZU vehicles is highly desirable
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and time-management skills
* Valid driver's license
