Responsibilities
* Deliver and assess training programs and competencies in patient handling and Aggression Prevention Intervention (API2).
* Assist in risk minimisation strategies related to patient handling tasks.
* Complete safety observation assessments and competencies.
* Maintain training statistics and support LMS course management.
* Ensure training delivery meets Serco and WA Health quality standards.
* Provide guidance using a risk management approach.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and uphold HRMS values.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience in a healthcare environment.
* Experience delivering and assessing patient handling or aggression prevention–related training.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong customer focus and ability to build effective relationships.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
* Ability to adapt quickly to new training processes and technologies.
* Knowledge of WHS and ergonomic principles relevant to manual handling and aggression management.
* Workplace First Aid certification including current CPR.
* Bachelor qualification in human movement, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing or related field, or currently working towards this (desirable).
* National Police Check (essential).
* Up-to-date vaccination status in line with Department of Health requirements.
