About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative professional to join our team as a Mental Health Clinician. The successful candidate will work with young people aged 12-25, providing support for a wide range of concerns including mental health, physical and sexual health, drug and alcohol use, education and employment, and support for families and carers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with young people, conduct assessments, deliver brief evidence-based interventions and therapy, make referrals, and coordinate care.
* Identify the most appropriate service pathways to deliver high-quality, accessible mental health support tailored to individual needs.
* Work alongside a team of healthcare professionals to provide seamless, coordinated, and youth-friendly support.
Requirements:
* Formal qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health Nursing.
* Current registration with AHPRA or AASW.
* Current paid Blue Card (Social Workers only).
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
* Proficiency in report writing and meeting program/client documentation standards.
* Competence with Microsoft Office and ability to learn clinical software systems.
