Legal service program manager (morwell)

Location: Morwell, Gippsland, Victoria. Full‐time role (part‐time negotiable). Travel to other sites as required.

The Legal Service Program Manager will oversee the day‐to‐day operations of the Gippsland Community Legal Service, collaborating with the Principal Lawyer and leadership staff to deliver high‐quality, client‐centred legal services.

Relevant qualifications in Law, Management, Social Work, Community Services or any other related fields are required. Prior leadership and management experience in a service delivery context is highly desirable.

• Manage operational matters relating to the day‐to‐day running of the service.
• Work closely with the Principal Lawyer and other leadership staff within the service to deliver high quality client‐centred services.
• Effectively manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive the service's strategic agenda and identify areas for improvement and growth.
• Oversee the preparation, implementation and management of the budget, alongside the AV Finance Manager.
• Provide appropriate employee supervision to key roles within the legal service.
• Oversee recruitment of staff.
• Be an active participant of the AV Gippsland Leadership team and ensure collaboration between the service and wider AV programs.

• Total salary package of $153,618.29.
