About our Client: Our client has a world class metalliferous processing site positioned on the outskirts of Townsville and is seeking an experienced labourer with a forklift ticket for their various departments.
What You Will Be Doing: As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements.
You will be required to work 2 days/2 nights and 4 days off working ***** hour shifts.
Day Shift: 5:45am-6:00pm.
Night shift: 5:45pm-6:00am.
Your main responsibilities and duties: Safely and effectively operating fixed plant (valves, pulleys, conveyors) and mobile equipment (gantry & forklift).
Pre-start checks of various equipment.
Following strict company policies and procedures.
Working in a team-focused environment to meet production goals.
What You Will Need: Forklift licence (required).
Gantry crane ticket (highly desirable).
Physical fortitude to withstand high temperatures and long hours.
Ability to pass pre-employment medical and on-site random drug testing.
Clean shaven for the role.
