Job Title: Weighbridge Operator
About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position working 38 hours per week between 7.15 am and 5.15 pm.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate classification, ticketing, charging and destination of waste received at the depot, as well as dispatching and ticketing of outbound materials.
* Provide customer support, training, and assistance for weighbridge operations.
* Perform administrative tasks to facilitate efficient delivery of services.
* Assess customer loads and provide directions for diverting reusable or recyclable items from landfills to promote sustainable waste management practices.
* Input details into computerised waste tracking system.
* Process payments and perform end of day balance and banking reconciliation.
* Respond to telephone queries and calls for booking in loads.
Requirements:
* Certificate II in Waste Management or Administration, Civil Construction, or equivalent experience.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* Willingness to obtain SafeWork NSW Construction Induction Training Card (i.e. White card).
* Experience in administration, weighbridge operation, payments, and customer service.
* Proof of Australian residency or citizenship, or authority to work in Australia.
