About the School
Newton Moore Senior High School (SHS) is a proud part of the South Bunbury community. Known for its inclusive and supportive environment, the school is committed to providing high‐quality education in a culturally safe setting, where every student is empowered to succeed.
Our KNIGHTS values - Knowledge (Kaaditj), Nurture (Kaaradjiny), Inclusivity (Ngalak wer warma dandjoo yaka), Growth (Maaladj), Happiness (Kwababiny), Teamwork (Dandjoo warniny) and Success (woola) - guide everything we do.
Students thrive through a range of pathways, offering two Department of Education Approved Specialist Academic Programs, Science Horizons and Engineering, providing advanced, future‐focused learning for high‐achieving students. The Moore Academy of Sport and Health (MASH) supports talented young athletes to reach their personal best both academically and in their sporting pursuits. As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for Aquaculture, we also deliver industry‐aligned training that opens doors to real‐world qualifications and career opportunities.
We also host the Clontarf Academy, Stars Foundation, and Bushranger Cadets, each offering outstanding mentoring, leadership development, cultural enrichment, and engagement programs that empower students to grow, connect, and succeed.
