Are you passionate about making a difference for youth aged 12 to 25 in your local community and region? Our client is currently seeking a qualified Clinical Coordinator in Emerald to lead a dedicated and experienced clinical team providing a critical support network.

About headspace Emerald:

headspace is an innovative youth service founded in 2006 providing services to over 154 communities throughout Australia. They deliver access to primary and mental health, alcohol and drug services, social welfare and vocational services for young people. The service is based on early identification and effective, evidence-based intervention delivered by primary care and specialist providers working together within an accessible and integrated service framework.

About the Organisation:

The centre is operated by Anglicare Central Queensland and is funded in collaboration with a Primary Health Network (PHN). For more than 30 years, Anglicare Central Queensland's local team of professionals have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds and beliefs to support them in living their best life. They are dedicated to putting participants first, enriching their lives by creating choice, opportunities, and independence. They serve communities in and around Rockhampton, Gladstone, Biloela, Moura, Blackwater, Emerald, Barcaldine, Longreach, and Winton.

About your new role:

The Coordinator will provide oversight to the coordination and delivery of clinical services, be responsible for providing clinical supervision and the development, coordination, and governance of the team's clinical practice.

In this role you will work collaboratively with all clinicians located at headspace Emerald and will report to the Manager - Children, Youth and Families. This position will also form and maintain working relationships with key agencies in the community to establish integrated care pathways for young people. To find out more about headspace visit

This is a full-time position, which will be situated in the recently established facility in Emerald. Although travel in the region is seldomly required, a company car is provided for business use so a current driver's license is required. Flexibility to maintain a presence during the 2 evenings per week when the centre extends its hours until 7pm is required. There are currently no hybrid options in order to ensure face-to-face service delivery.

What qualifications do I need?

* As Anglicare Central Queensland is a Child Safe Organisation, preferred applicants will be required to hold a Blue Card & Yellow card prior to commencement.
* Approved and fully completed tertiary level qualification in an allied health discipline, including social work, psychology (4+2 pathway or 5+1 pathway), mental health nursing, and/or occupational therapy.
* Registration or membership with appropriate registration authority or professional body (APHRA or AASW).
* Full Covid-19 vaccination.
* An open QLD Driver's license.
