About the role:
We are currently hiring for Domestic Support Worker to assist in our Aged Care Division. The role involves helping with domestic chores and supporting clients in maintaining their ability to manage daily activities in a safe, secure, and healthy home environment. This includes providing limited services to support wellness and reablement goals.
This role is casual ongoing and will commence ASAP with the option of building up a regular schedule including multiple participants per day.
Our clients are located around the Victor Harbor, Port Elliot and Goolwa areas. You will have access to our exclusive job board, where you can claim your shifts depending on the location and times.
Roster example:
* 8AM-10AM
* 9:30AM-11:30AM
* 11AM-1PM
* 12PM-2PM
* 2PM-4PM
Shift Locations:
* Victor Harbor
* Encounter Bay
* Port Elliot
* Hayborough
* Goolwa
* Goolwa North
Pay rates:
* $34.45 per hour
This role is ideal for:
* Univeristy students studying healthcare or aged care
* Workers interested in extra hours or consistent shifts
* Retired Support Workers interested in casual work
Key Responsibilities:
* General house cleaning
* Washing of house linen or provision of laundering linen, usually by a separate laundry facility.
* Unaccompanied shopping (delivered to home)
* Clothes washing and ironing
* Dishwashing
Skills & Experiences:
* Prior experience in aged care setting
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Current Police Clearance
* NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module
* NDIS 'Supporting Effective Communication\" module
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working with Children Check
* Full Australian working rights
* Australian Driver's License
* Positive Attitudes and flexibility in shift times
* Reliable and proactive
