Little Beach Co is an eco-luxury retreat resort in Tasmania, known for its thoughtful guest experience, attention to detail, and strong commitment to eco-tourism principles. We're seeking an experienced Resort Receptionist / Guest Experience Host to become the welcoming face of our retreat.
About the Role
You'll be the first point of contact for guests and play a key role in setting the tone for an exceptional stay. This is a hands-on front office position suited to someone who thrives in a calm but high-standard environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming guests warmly and managing check-in/check-out
* Handling bookings, guest enquiries, and concierge-style assistance
* Managing calls, emails, and daily guest requests efficiently
* Coordinating guest experience details with housekeeping, maintenance and management
* Supporting eco-tourism initiatives and educating guests on our sustainability efforts
* Maintaining a polished reception environment aligned to our brand
* Assisting with admin tasks, reporting, and operational coordination
About You
We're looking for someone who understands the rhythm of a retreat resort and brings professionalism, warmth and resilience.
You will have:
* Previous experience in resort / hotel reception or a similar guest services role
* Confidence using booking systems and general computer systems (RMS experience highly regarded)
* Excellent communication skills and a calm, friendly manner
* Strong organisation and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and take initiative
* A genuine passion for nature, sustainability and eco-tourism
