With a strong pipeline of future developments, a focus on strategic growth, and a commitment to diversification, we are seeking a highly experienced Estimating Manager to join their team in a key leadership role.
Your New Role
Overseeing the Estimating department of their Wholesale Residential build business stream (team of 5), as the Estimating Manager, you will be a key member of a driven and collaborative leadership team, overseeing a talented estimating department with a dedicated focus on delivery. You will drive workflow efficiency, quality control, and cost management across the portfolio, and work to create increased proficiencies through staff and system development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resource management and operational workflow oversight
* Quality control throughout the estimating process, including BOQ creation, production estimating, PO release, ETO reporting, and budget/margin reviews
* Cost management, monitoring market trends in materials and labour pricing
* Continuous improvement, enhancing internal systems and developing team capabilities
What You Need to Succeed
To be considered for this role, you should demonstrate:
* Strong tenure and experience in Construction Estimating, including proven tenure in leadership positions
* High proficiency in Databuild, Planswift, or similar estimating software
* Technical expertise in construction methodologies, workflow management, supplier negotiations, and cost control
* A leadership approach centred on communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement
