Description Lake Imaging, founded in 2002, has become the largest radiology provider in central and western Victoria with more than 19 clinics providing a wide range of diagnostic imaging services to the St John of God private hospitals, community-based clinics and speciality centres in Melbourne, Ballarat, Geelong and Warrnambool.
Are you a passionate and experienced Radiographer looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Radiography Supervisor/Tutor Radiographer to support the team at Lake Imaging Geelong and Warrnambool.
Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Regional Manager the Radiography Supervisor / Tutor Radiographer you will be responsible for:
* Maintaining a high quality, efficient imaging service in general radiography.
* Providing assistance in day-to-day management of general radiography.
* Ensuring correct and safe imaging techniques are adhered to.
* Identifying and implementing general radiography service provision improvements.
* Coordination and Supervision of University and Work Experience student programs for Lake Imaging clinics across Geelong and Warrnambool locations.
* Other duties as directed by Site Supervisor or Regional Manager, from time to time.
About You
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* High level communication skills, both written, verbal, and interpersonal
* Demonstrated team leadership skills, with a willingness to be part of, and manage a professional imaging team
* Ability to add value through a continuous improvement mindset professional imaging team.
* Ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal stakeholders
* Current AHPRA registration and Radiation Use Licence
* Driver’s licence as will be required to travel between sites in Geelong and Warrnambool
