With a reputation built on quality workmanship, safety, and reliability, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead our Pakenham workshop operations.
We are looking for a hands‐on Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop activities, coordinate trades, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
This role will suit a motivated leader with a strong fabrication or welding background who enjoys mentoring teams and maintaining high standards in a fast‐paced workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate workshop trades and apprentices
* Plan and schedule fabrication and mechanical works
* Ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to specification
* Maintain quality standards and oversee inspections where required
* Coordinate materials, equipment, and resources for workshop jobs
* Promote and maintain strong safety culture and compliance
* Liaise with project managers, engineers, and site teams
* Support continuous improvement and workshop efficiency
About You
* Trade qualification in Fabrication, Boilermaking, or similar
* Previous experience in a workshop supervisory or leading hand role
* Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and workshop processes
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
