$85,000 – $90,000 per year + super + bonus

We are seeking a highly organised, analytical, technically savvy hands‐on individual to be a Product Operations & Data Specialist to support the Head of Product in delivering Bellbird's product governance, data integrity, and lifecycle management frameworks.

This role is critical to ensuring accurate, controlled, and compliant product data across all systems, with strong documentation, reporting discipline, and product launch readiness for e‐commerce. You will play a hands‐on role in maintaining the foundations that enable confident decision‐making across Product, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Compliance. You will also be hands‐on with the product in setting up product displays for conferences, showroom, photography, quality control testing & training

Key Performance Indicators

Product Information & Content

Source and accurately record product master data within Maropost Commerce Cloud (Neto) and ensure synchronisation into other operating systems (DEAR, website & internal libraries) with supplier information, product attributes, safety & maintenance information, marketing collateral, etc

Create and maintain product codes, write clear, original and commercially focused product descriptions and select and link the relevant supplier images (lifestyle & studio)

Follow defined content and product information standards

Maintain & strengthen product data to ensure its integrity. Identify and resolve errors, inconsistencies or missing information

Support product onboarding into the system throughout the full product lifecycle

Product Governance & Systems

Maintain a structured framework of processes, policies, and controls to manage a product throughout its entire lifecycle systematically.

Ensure that products align with company strategy, meet identified customer needs, comply with regulations, and minimise risks.

Collect, validate, cleanse, reconcile, and maintain data from multiple sources to support trusted reporting and insights

Maintain strong data discipline, version control, and audit‐ready documentation standards

Reporting

Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, monthly, and ad‐hoc product and performance reports in line with agreed reporting cadences

Maintain reporting templates, dashboards, schedules, and documentation to support governance, consistency, and repeatability

Conduct data quality checks and exception reporting, escalating risks or discrepancies early

Support the Head of Product by translating complex data into clear, structured outputs for supplier reviews, product comparisons, product performance, competitor reviews, customer projects, etc

Website & Marketing

Maintain category sequencing and online product accuracy

Check for and identify errors in product data and representation on the website and in marketing material, and resolve inconsistencies or missing information

Flag product alternatives/substitutions for use on the website and remove deleted products

Assist the Head of Product & Marketing Manager with product selection and set‐up for product launches, conferences, showroom displays, training, promotions, etc

Product Lifestyle & Category Support

Communicate with suppliers to source accurate and timely product information through a cadence of annual supplier range reviews

Coordinate samples, assets, testing documentation, and approvals aligned to product development timelines

Assist with competitor benchmarking, research, and market analysis to support category decisions

Prepare structured product handover packs to enable Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Supply Chain before the launch of a new range.

Prepare, maintain, and version‐control quality assurance, testing, and compliance documentation, installation instructions, Safety Data Sheets, and compliance certificates

Record non‐conformances and support corrective actions with suppliers under the guidance of the Head of Product

Ensure documentation and product data support internal governance reviews, audits, and regulatory requirements

Continuous Improvement & Capability Building

Identify opportunities to improve product data workflows, automate repeatable tasks, and strengthen reporting reliability

Respond to internal data and reporting queries with clear, accurate, and well‐structured information

Build understanding of Bellbird's key product metrics, performance measures, and operating rhythms

Actively contribute to a collaborative, accountable, and high‐performing product team and wider team culture through transparent and effective communication and accountability towards actionable outcomes

Skills & experience

3+ years of experience in e‐commerce, data analytics, and product management environments is essential

Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, methodical working style with experience in maintaining templates, documentation, and repeatable reporting processes

Analytical capability - you work confidently with data, ability to provide insights in product performance

High technology proficiency (Advanced Excel, AI, and Google)

Strong document control, version management, and data governance discipline

Strong commercial acumen

Confident written and verbal communication skills, with an interest in product content, supplier engagement and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and control

Australian work authorisation is required for this position

Experience with ERP systems (Maropost/Neto, DEAR, or similar) &/or maintaining a PIM &/or E‐commerce system

Exposure to reporting, dashboards, or product performance metrics, using ZOHO or custom analytics software

Experience managing digital assets (images, 2D/3D files)

Familiarity with quality, testing, or systemisation and compliance documentation

Interest in Early Education products

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Digital, Data Systems, IT or similar is desirable but not essential
