Leadership Role in Population Health
The Director (Health Manager Level 5) - Violence, Abuse and Neglect Services position is a key leadership opportunity within the Population Health division of Sydney Local Health District.
This role involves overseeing services that address Child Protection, Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Counselling Services. It also encompasses the management of the Child Protection Strategy Unit, Domestic Violence Strategy Unit and Adult Survivor Program.
The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications, including post-graduate management qualifications, and/or equivalent work experience. They must have high-level knowledge and expertise in domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, and sexual assault.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent work experience with demonstrated ability and relevant experience in leadership and management at a high level.
* High-level knowledge and expertise in domestic violence, child abuse and neglect, and sexual assault.
* Strategic planning, implementation and evaluation skills, as well as the ability to manage and resolve complex issues.
Key Responsibilities
This leadership role requires the development and coordination of strategic initiatives for the Directorate of Violence Abuse and Neglect. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals and driving outcomes in the areas of Child Protection, Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault.
In this capacity, they will need to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
The ideal candidate will be able to think critically and strategically, with a strong focus on delivering results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
